At the age of seven Pablo started dancing at MEBA after Heather asked if he wanted to join his sister’s class. He continued dancing with MEBA for 10 years before going on to train in Barcelona and graduating from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London. He received scholarships to attend Boston Ballet Summer Programme, The Ballet Masterclass in Prague and the Job Sanders Scholarship for the NDT summer intensive. Pablo has been engaged as a freelance dancer and a company member with over 10 companies across Europe. Apart from dancing he enjoys choreographing, travelling, yoga and taking on new challenges!
Thealyssa has been dancing at MEBA since 2004. She gained her RAD Solo Seal Award in 2014. Thealyssa now teaches private lessons at MEBA while studying full-time at the University of Auckland. Some of her dance experiences include being twice an AHA finalist and competing in the Sydney Eisteddfod McDonald’s Senior Scholarship. Her other hobbies include baking, cooking, knitting and pilates!
Natalie attended MEBA for her pre-professional classical ballet training. She then moved on to the New Zealand School of Dance where she trained in the contemporary stream graduating with ‘Most Promising Dancer’ in her class.In NZ she has worked with Black Grace, Java Dance Company, Malia Johnston and Fuse Circus. She has also danced professionally in Germany with Stadttheater Bremerhaven. Natalie now works as a pilates instructor at the NZSD where she teaches the Scholars pilates, Movitae & classical conditioning programme and the full-time contemporary majors Pilates and Conditioning programme. Natalie owns Wairere Pilates Studio in Johnsonville, Wellington where she teaches a wide range of people including dancers, circus performers, athletes and injury rehabilitation.
Wil Sabin is the founder and director of Will Sabin Entertainment. He is an internationally renowned choreographer and creative director based in Sydney, Australia. Will trained at MEBA from the age of 8 through to 17 when he was awarded a scholarship to Brent Street Performing Arts Full time Cert IV Course in Sydney from the NZAMD.
As a choreographer his clients include Jessica Mauboy, Natalie Conway, Prinnie Stevens, Paulini, Melissa Tkautz, Zoe Badwi, Deni Hines and Courtney Act. He has also worked with international artists including Deborah Cox, The Pussycat Dolls, Luciana, as well as performing alongside Sir Elton John in Hong Kong and touring extensively throughout Japan with international magician Cyril. As a dancer he has performed throughout Australia with Caroline O’Connor, The Presets, Ricki-Lee, Sneaky Sound System and INXS.
Will was a guest judge and mentor for New Zealand’s Next Top Model Cycle 3.
Sabin’s international credits as Show Choreographer/ Director include the MGM Grand Casino- Macau, The Venetian Casino- Macau, and was responsible for Maxims Dolls’ launching the very first casino in Singapore- Resorts World Sentosa.
Hand picked to launch the American TV Series ‘Gossip Girl’ at Club Eden- Korea, he also works with corporate clients including Lambourgini Singapore, Lexus Australia and Davidoff Japan.
As a show producer/director he has been involved in Australia Fashion Week, Melbourne Fashion Festival, Australian Hair Fashion Awards, Australian Hair Expo working on major fashion shows and campaigns with some of the country’s biggest supermodels, including Miranda Kerr, Elyse Taylor and Abby-Lee.
In 2014 Wil choreographed the stage show ‘Sydney After Dark’ for the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas.
This year has been extremely busy for Sabin, who has looked after entertainment for March into Merivale, working on more than 22 events. He also recently appeared as guest mentor on season 3 of Asia’s Next Top Model, shot in Singapore and aired globally to more than 140 million viewers.
Wil is also on the faculty of Village on Broadway Performing Arts school, teaching young aspiring performers across various disciplines, including jazz, musical theatre and technique. His students current hold multiple national titles.
Zahra attended MEBA as a senior student before training at the New Zealand School of Dance as a classical major, and in her final year as a contemporary major. She is an award winning choreographer and dancer, and her awards include: Supreme Winner, Short and Sweet Dance Festival 2012; Auckland Outstanding Choreography, Critics Survey 2012, DANZ Quarterly; and Best of Auckland 2012, Metro Magazine. Zahra has choreographed and performed in shows throughout NZ, Asia and the Pacific. She has also gained her Postgraduate Diploma in Dance (Distinction) from The University of Auckland 2011, and received a scholarship to undertake a Master of Performance and Media Arts at Auckland University of Technology 2015.

Anna Louise Herzog attended MEBA for her pre professional dance training then received her Bachelor of Dance from the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne. While at university Anna-Louise received a North Harbour Club AIMES award for Excellence in the Arts.
After graduating Anna Louise moved to New York City. Her career highlights include being selected to attend the prestigious professional development program at the School at Jacobs Pillow, then performing on the ‘Inside Out Stage’ at Jacobs Pillow the following year. She also had the pleasure of performing for many contemporary choreographers across North America in Festivals such as Toronto Fringe Festival, Wave Rising NYC and at the Joyce SoHo to name a few.
Anna Louise also has had a successful commercial dance career which includes dancing for the Rolling Stones, appearing in international television commercials for brands such as Samsung, UNIQLO, Reebok and many print campaigns.
In 2014 Anna Louise returned to NZ and is proud to be teaching contemporary and yoga at MEBA and studying at the University of Auckland. She is grateful to have the opportunity to share her knowledge and passion of dance and choreography with the next generation. Anna Louise is also an ambassador for Lululemon NZ.
Gareth joined MEBA at a young age and continued through his senior years. In 2010 he went on to the New Zealand School of Dance as a classical major. Switching courses in his second year of training, Gareth went on to graduate as a contemporary major in 2012. It was at that time that he took up a position with the New Zealand Dance Company and stayed until mid 2015. Gareth is currently a freelancer in Berlin.
